Fire Planning and Mapping Tools Website

The California Fire Alliance's Fire Planning and Mapping Tools Website was created through an interagency effort to provide access to geographically referenced data used for fire planning. The data have been developed in support of both the California Fire Plan, adopted by the California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) in September 1996, and the National Fire Plan, adopted in August 2000 by the Federal Wildland Fire agencies, which include the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The funding for this Website was provided by a National Fire Plan grant.
