Theophilus North

This play is an adaptation by Matthew Burnett of Thornton Wilder's semi-autobiographical novel of the same name. This is the first published edition, which was subsequently revised for its Off-Broadway premiere, and republished by Samuel French for its current performable/licensable form. The play was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award as Outstanding New Play or Musical of the Year, and has been performed throughout the nation, by both professional and non-professional groups.
