Brokenhearted over the way Greg Bardsley had deceived her, Christabel Evans had behaved very foolishly - and very untypically - with Alex Thomassin, a man she didn't even know, and as a result of it all she had left Australia and her life as a successful model and taken refuge with her family in New Zealand. There she began to find peace again, and a new set of values - until suddenly that peace was destroyed by the arrival of Alex. How had he known she was there? What did he want?
