Long ride to nowhere

Blue Mitchell was older now, no longer a scrawny kid too easy to pick on, too weak to fight back. He was always being pushed, men turning on him in their anger at missed throws and lost loves. Like now. When the law wanted him for a murder it wasn't his to answer for. And he was heading into a gathering of strangers with nothing more than an Indian friend beside him and a poster offering money on his head.
