"This reprint consists of a selection from the individual catalogue sheets that were published by the Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd. to describe their various steam and diesel locomotives. Only narrow gauge locomotives of 1ft 6in to 3ft 6in gauge have been included. Amongst these are three sheets illustrating Avonside and Kerr Stuart steam locomotives as these designs were included in the Hunslet range following the acquistion of those companies' drawings, patterns and goodwill.
