Das Floß der Medusa

July 1816, off the west coast of Africa, the captain of the Argus discovers a raft about twenty meters long with 15 emaciated, sun burnt and naked figures. These are the remnant from the 147 people from the sunken frigate Medusa, who for two weeks have survived on the open sea.
