The Household of the Grail

the long version

The Holy Grail has become an almost universal symbol of search and aspiration. Derived from the cauldrons of ancient Celtic myth, it later became identified with the cup used by Jesus in the Last Supper and which caught His blood in the Deposition from the Cross. The tradition of the Grail has not stood still, but is an evolving one, changing with each succeeding generation of seekers who set out upon the long and often difficult path of discovery. This new collection examines the lives and works of key figures who have changed our understanding of the Grail throughout the ages. -- Excerpt from back cover.
