The Crimson Blind

Successful novelist David Steel has a cash flow problem; as his creditors are about to descend, he receives a mysterious call summoning him to a midnight meeting with a woman who needs him to plot out a solution to a dilemma. She pays Steel's debts, but the body in his parlor on his return home throws him into a desperate search to clear his name.
