Sinister strawberry waffle

Sometimes when you go digging ... You find more than you bargained for. Just when it seems that things have finally quieted down for diner owner Sonja Reed, a threatening note is slipped under her door, which spurs a series of spine-tingling events. A simple landscaping project at the diner goes terribly awry. A local businessman is murdered, and amateur sleuth Sonja finds herself in the midst of her most perplexing and dangerous mystery yet. Will she figure out whodunit? Or will her business and life fall to ruin at the hands of some very mysterious forces?
