"Midas Joint Venture (MJV) purposes to conduct mineral exploration activities in northeastern Nevada from 1996 to 1997 under the Midas Project Plan of Operations (POO) submitted in February, 1996 and revised in May, 1997. Exploration activities would consist of road construction and exploration drilling and sampling. The Midas Project (Project) is located on patented land owned or leased by MVJ and unpatented federal lode mining claims on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) Elko District Office"--Page 1.
