Buddies and Bravery in the South Pacific

As I and my buddies struggled to survive the battle from island to island in the South Pacific, I knew this was only one more chapter in my life, this struggle to defeat an enemy, and I would have a better life back home when this was accomplished. But more important than that was the thought that even though we were to destroy the enemy and were trained to do so, it was also our duty to save ourselves and our buddies in our struggle to survive. This is the true story of those struggles and those brave buddies in the South Pacific.
