Saving Erasmus

A newly-graduated, newly-appointed minister is stunned when the Angel of Death tells him that his town, Eramus, will be destroyed in a week unless it repents of its sins. The preacher finds this difficult since it is owned by a very greedy businesswoman and populated by mystics named after television characters.
