Although for anthropology the study of the "Divine King" has a deep roots that has motivated major essays that are among the classics of the discipline, few are the studies that have dealt with this topic in Mesoamerica and the. Not wanting to leave these neglected areas, particularly the Andean, following the guidelines of Frankfort the author has allowed himself to venture into this field to on the basis of his comparative style highlight some peculiarities that trace paths that can be deepened by other researchers.
