Scorned hearts

In the sequel to He's a Keeper, Toni and the kids have moved to Ohio after not being able to deal with the hurt and pain her husband, Eric, inflicted on a daily basis. They find the move to be a big culture shock, but are trying to start their lives again. Eric's bitterness from Toni leaving makes his heart darker and colder than ever as his drug and alcohol consumption is out of control and makes him a danger to anyone in his life.
