Treatment efficacy for stuttering

Chapters in the first section review five areas of inquiry-- spontaneous recovery, definition and measurement, genetics, speech motor control, and stuttering theory--while seeking treatment implications of that knowledge. The second section focuses more directly on the evaluation of treatment options and treatment outcomes, and addresses both direct and indirect treatments for children and adults.
