A novel. La Zacualpa is a town in Chiapas, the Urbinas home, owners of a farm with the same name. On This Land is the story of this family in its various generations and focused in the changing political situations the country was facing. (Reform War, the Porfiriato and the Revolution). It is, therefore, the story of a family that sees glory and prestige come to their land and then watch it go faster than it came.
