Only the mountains

In the year 2546, travel across the dangerous central territory of New America is treacherous. Kayta disregards the risk, determined to start fresh in the new capital of Seattle. When her airship crashes, she is captured by the fearsome Wrocks, and thrown into a life of perplexing customs. With winter approaching, Kayta must make choices that will change her life forever. She struggles to adapt to a hunter-gatherer lifestyle that is rapidly colliding with the encroaching and vicious New America culture.
