"In this book, a thorough analysis of the transition strategies of seven formerly state-owned companies from East Germany is presented in detailed case studies. Although these case studies show that the development of each company was unique and marked by distinct strategies, some striking similarities occurred in their adaptation processes. On the basis of these similarities, a characteristic adaptation pattern of formerly state-owned companies from East Germany is developed and success factors are highlighted."--BOOK JACKET.
