the long version

This book was written in Ukrainian. It explains how eating poorly will destroy your organs, and your body. Dr. Zoshchuk was a doctor to Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. He worked with the flying doctors of Kenya. While writing this book he spent 6 months at our house in Germany. His good friend was Bircher (of Bircher Muesli). He spent years observing how other people eat and the effects of such food. He predicted at the time, that in the Western World , the fast food, processed food, and over consumption of protein would lead to obesity, diabetes, heart problems, learning disability and many other ailments. In the book he explains all of this, and why is happens. He explains it medically, since he was a surgeon. He worked in Lviv at the Medical School prior to WWII, then went to Vienna. From Vienna he went to Africa. After the exile of the Emperor he returned to Europe. He gave speeches in the Ukrainian community, and published his work in Canada. While staying with us in Dusseldorf, he visited his colleagues and finished his book. The importance of this book is that long before dieticians started to write their weight loss programs and publish them. Zoshchuk lived the life he wrote about, proved medically the value in eating clean healthy food, nothing artificial, and cared to inform the public. The book is written in Ukrainian the way it was spoken and used academically before russification. A GEM ! Halyna Klymuk-Chomiak
