Examines some of the questions surrounding the shipwreck of the Brig St. John on October 7, 1849 just outside of Cohasset Harbor on Grampus Ledge near Minot's Ledge. The ship was bound for Boston from Ireland with more than 100 passengers most of whom perished in the accident.
