The expert witness

The purpose of expert testimony is to provide findings of facts for the decision-making process of semijudicial or judicial bodies such as boards of adjustments, boards of taxation, public utility commissions, governing bodies, or other judicial bodies, or to provide the various courts of law with factual information on which to base a resolution, a ruling, or a verdict. This book, it is hoped, will help young practitioners and prospective experts in all fields to do a better job than they would have done otherwise.
