Sarah's long ride

When newly orphaned Sarah goes to live with her quiet Uncle Joe on his isolated Oregon ranch, she prays that he will allow her to continue the trail riding competitions she and her mother had loved so much, and that the two of them will learn to feel like a family. The Bandicoot 100 is coming up, and Sarah Piper and her horse Icicle are registered for the race. But Sarah's mother has recently died, leaving Sarah without a riding partner.
