Jack is not a girly girl. She loves doing what her three older brothers do; trying hard to prove that she is as good as they are. This, coupled with a creative imagination, gets her into a heap of trouble. From getting stuck in a culvert to catching criminals, learning to milk a cow to riding her brother's horse without permission; staging backyard rodeo to bringing chickens in the house to watch television, Jack begins to realize that she doesn't need to prove anything to anyone but just be herself.
