Gold in the Hills, A tale of the Klondike Gold Rush (Time Spies #8)

the long version

The Time Spies catch Gold Fever! In this eighth Time Spies title, the Chapman kids pop back to 1897, to the area that will one day be known as Alaska. There, they meet a boy who is prospecting with his father during the Klondike Gold Rush. When the boy's prized Malemute is stolen, the Time Spies set out to track down the sled dog with the help of a young prospector, who turns out to be none other than famed American adventure writer, Jack London. From acclaimed author Candice Ransom, comes another Time Spies adventure so fun to read that kids won't realize how much they're learning about American history (until it's too late)!
