Hawaiian Adventure YA (young adult) The author calls it her boy book--her Tommy book! "My nephew came to visit me for a week, and stayed a year! I based this character around his actual mannerisms." It's a fun, and funny story, but it will break your heart at times. And it intertwines with his sister's novel: Ni'ihua. **In chapter one:** Tommy finishes college on the mainland, in Ohio, and returns to ranch life on Moloka'i. Being a metrosexual (dresses nice, styles hair, and stays extremely clean) he has hands-on issues with farm life. Wanting to drive a sportscar instead of a working vehicle, just won't cut it on a working farm. Tommy's young, a bit immature, and has *a lot* to learn. And of course he's completely distracted, by chasing a girl!
