Major Impact! : From a Minority Group

the long version

"People of African heritage have contributed to US culture since its beginnings. Today, their influence has reached a global scale. Unfortunately, the many accomplishments of African Americans have received too little recognition. And yet in the face of ignorance and cynicism, this community continues to enrich cultures worldwide. Major Impact celebrates African American contributions throughout history, from early expeditions to the building of the United States, the arts and sciences, sports, religion, human rights, and a great deal more." -- Provided by publisher
