"The Bravewell Collaborative was a community of leading philanthropists who worked together from 2002 until 2015 to transform the healthcare system and improve health of the American public through the advancement of integrative medicine. In 2002, a small group of philanthropists joined in conversation with prominent physicians in the field of integrative medicine to discuss potential solutions to the growing healthcare crisis. Deciding that working together would accomplish more than any one individual could accomplish alone, The Bravewell Collaborative established itself operating foundation and began to fund initiatives that supported broad systems change. How they approached the work is detailed in this book, The Bravewell Story.
