Hunger disease

A translation from the Polish of a manuscript smuggled out of the Warsaw Ghetto that details studies performed by resident Jewish physicians on patients suffering from starvation. Topics include: clinical changes in adults and children, metabolic adaptations, circulatory changes, changes in the eye and in vision, changes in the blood and bone marrow, and pathologic anatomy.
