The English gradual

Book 2, 1933 contains traditional English language Propers: the Introit, the Gradual, the Tract, the Alleluia, the Offertory and the Communion which are to be sung in the Eucharist and set in this instance to plainchant intonations borrowed from Gregorian psalmody. They are thus readily accessible to an average parish choir or alternating with 1 to 4 cantors per liturgical season.
