From school to stage

Phyllis Dare was an Edwardian actress, now better known for her images on picture-postcards. Her sister Zena was also an actress and picture-postcard model. This book somewhat naively (she was only 17 years old at the time it was published) tells of her early stage aspirations as a schoolgirl and her first stage appearances. A book well worth reading by those interested in the Edwardian stage.
