Often, Torb is a crepuscular text, of sifted light and intense darkness, but where there are also some bursts of light that confirm that, following the thread that unites past and present, life continues. Aware of his insignificance, faced with the hidden temptation in everyday life, Jan knows that living implies assuming the condition of being ephemeral and dull, with a trail of sins. The world does not stop, and he also has no choice but to try to continue forward, despite the difficulty, like walking in water. Along the way, he meets characters who explain different pasts and present, deconstructing reality and exposing the limits of the soul.
