In Our Village

The history, geography, and culture of Kambi ya Simba, Tanzania, as seen through the eyes of school students aged sixteen to eighteen years old. Sponsored by What Kids Can Do, an American nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring youth voices to the public stage, editor Barbara Cervone worked with the students to interview village people on a variety of topics, to take photographs, and to write the narrative text.
