Brian DeClay rode to Twin Forks determined to kill Sid Locklin, the man responsible for his father's death eight years before. His father and Sid had been partners in a freighting business at the time. Much bigger and tougher now, DeClay ends up aiding Sid's daughter...and even falls for her, but he still intends revenge. Then he ends up on their side, battling against a rich syndicate that has come into town and is trying to run them out of business. Between revenge and justice, Brian ends up siding Sid's family. It's an odd turn of events, one that could get a man killed.
