This is the best book, exploring the grail societies I have ever read. I am a direct descendant of a scottish family connected to the ancient templar order and I read everything I can on the subject. Emery's credentials are expansive to say the least. His book connected the dots for me, as I tried to understand family history and lore. Each chapter is full of fascinating information. I have read and re-read the book. I recommend it as an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in secret societies and why they kept their secrets.
