What do a wily county sheriff, a hard-driving Kansas City homicide detective, and a former NIS agent turned PI have in common? Frustration over two unresolved cases: murders with insufficient evidence to prosecute the leading suspects. John Harwell is determined to solve one cold case with the sketchy evidence from another cold case. But he has a major problem.
