the long version

The book answers questions many people have about women in Judaism, using insights from kaballah and chassidut. It explains the movement towards equality as part of the process of redemption preparing the world for the messianic era. In addition, the book explains other major changes such as Zionism, the technological revolution, interest in kabbalah and more, as being connected to the changes of the pre-messianic era. However, the book qualifies this by saying that before the coming of the actual redemption, the redemptive powers are partially "swallowed" by impure forces and used negatively. The book is extremely well referenced, showing how the author's conclusions are based on statements of the Talmud and kabbalah which actually predicted these changes in this time period.
