In a chilling mirror of today's headlines, The Nylon Hand of God opens with a bomb attack on the Israeli Consulate in New York City. Meanwhile, in Jerusalem, Lieutenant Colonel Benni Baum of Israeli Military Intelligence is hammering out the final details of a crucial prisoner exchange between the Israelis and the Iranian-backed fundamentalists.
