I own this book, but can't find it at the moment. The book has a thorough explaination of pickups, how they are wired, and the ways that controls produce a variety of tones. Considering this book was published years ago, people may be surprised that many "new innovations" have been renamed with name's such as "xyz companie's famous mid boost", yet the original concepts have been outlined in this book. References to how specific brands do their wiring are included
