Come down the mountain

Knotted with adolescent frustration by the adult world which cares but does nothing, a sixteen-year-old English village girl endures just so much of schoolmates' taunting and parents' fears of reprisal before she convinces her father they must rescue a neglected old thoroughbred from the abandoned manor on the hill.
