Although fate had inextricably entwined their futures, both Thelvyn Fox-Eyes and the dragons know their destiny has yet to take its final twist. If the strange prophecy revealed to Thelvyn is to be fulfilled, the Dragonlord will effect profound changed on the destiny of the dragons, yet neither side ever suspected they would stand together against a new, even more powerful enemy. Convincing the dragons to submit to his authority has been difficult enough, but now the new Dragonking must lead his subjects in a seemingly hopeless war to save a world that fears and despises them.
