Nick Shaw jumps at the chance to explore the island of Jersey for his job as a travel writer. Accompanying him is his journalist friend Ben Ryland, who wants to follow up a story about modern-day smuggling that could be his big break. Disregarding the risks, Ryland hares off to probe further into a suspicious death - only to vanish without a trace. Searching for him, Shaw is inexorably drawn into the world of smuggling - where the wrong move can lead to a watery grave ...
