This book is designed to set forth the pleasures, objects, and advantages of bicycle and tricycle riding in such guise as to persuade the non-rider to become a cyclist. Without indulgence in hysterical exaggeration, the author has presented an outline of the various phases of cycling in a manner calculated to provide just what the cyclist so often feels the need of when talking of his favourite pursuit to such vacillating and uncertain individuals as he may desire to convert to the pleasures of the wheel.
