The original reference on collecting WW2 German military ID's. Wehrpasses were issued when a man registered for the draft and followed him throughout his lifetime. Entries for training, units, wounds, promotions, medals and campaigns were recorded. This reference books offers page by page deciphering of what is found on Wehrpass pages. A Soldbuch was started when a man was drafted into active military service. It contained much of the same information as a Wehrpass, except he carried it as a means of identification.
