Fragments of my soul

the long version

"As far back as my memory serves, my dream was always to create. I created what I consider my first piece of art when I was ten years old. I wrote a short skit for the Christmas holiday celebration sponsored by my fifth grade class at Barracks Road Primary; and every so often now when I am writing, I recall the words of my English teacher Miss. Clark, telling me how wonderful I did. With this memory in mind, I hope you will find that I did wonderfully in my creation for this my first volume of poetry. I trust you will find the simplicity of the poems endearing; and that they will provoke you to think, to love, to cry and perhaps laugh.
