A wolf by the ears

After his parents died in a fire, Stephen Kirk expected to inherit a fortune, although his parents had left no will. But doubts are soon cast on his legitimacy. David Centre, a qualified solicitor, tries to unravel Kirk's complicated family history, only for his client to be arrested on a more serious charge. Stephen Kirk could remember nothing of his actions on the night his parents were killed. Centre soon discovers that a number of people had a keen interest in removing Harry Kirk. Suddenly there was no shortage of suspects.
