Despite its importance as a document for political life in Athens after 402 B.C.E. and the development of Attic oratory, Lysias' 21st speech has never been the subject of an extensive scholarly commentary. This present volume fills this gap, focusing on structural, strategic, and argumentative aspects of the speech.
