This volume contains 51 contributions presented at the IUTAM Symposium on Interaction between Dynamics and Control in Advanced Mechanical Systems. The Symposium brought together scientists active in various fields of both dynamics and control, and stimulated the interaction of the two with respect to advanced engineering applications.
