The Collie
Sobre o livro
Another book from Anna Katherine Nicholas. The collie's history in its native Britain is minimal. Whereas kennels in the US take up at least half of the book, kennels in the UK are confined to a few very small entries that take up less than five pages. Another thing is that this book is more about the rough collie than the smooth, with most of the photographs showing rough collies. The care information is, at best, generic, and more in-depth information can be found on the Internet. This is still a very good book, despite its faults, and I'd recommend it more to a beginner (maybe someone who doesn't have a collie but wants to learn a bit about the breed) than someone interested in showing or breeding their collie.
