Tesoros de lectura provides teachers with scaffolded instruction, strategies, and resources to support students in transferring their existing knowledge of concepts and language to develop English proficiency. The program includes explicit and systematic daily instructional routines that help English learners acquire and practice essential English-language skills. In addition, unit reviews are included at the end of each unit. Together, these layers of instruction help teachers prepare their students for meaningful connection and transition to English.
