"Riding into unknown territory, Clint Shane and his pal Ty Morrow think they have found a settlement where they can rest and buy fresh provisions. The amiable youngsters are in a good mood as they ride toward the sprawling town when suddenly shots ring out. Terrified they spur their mounts and gallop across the wild terrain toward the array of buildings which are bathed in blinding sunlight. As they reach the outlying structures a chilling realization dawns on the pair: this is no ordinary town; there are no people. As they hastily dismount, the drifters notice that every building is crumbling beneath the merciless rays of the sun.
